Northlake, Illinois- June 13, 2011- Scholle Packaging, the Pioneer of Bag-In-Box®, has won a distinguished DuPont Award for Packaging Innovation for bag-in-box for automotive fluid chemicals.
The DuPont Award for Packaging Innovation is given to industry-breakthrough packages that significantly reduce waste/material usage, improve sustainability and are innovative. This year 16 packages were recognized with this award from over 200 entries.
Scholle Packaging’s bag-in-box system for automotive chemicals and fluids allows manufacturer’s to satisfy their customers’ needs with an efficient, environmentally-conscious package.

Each six-gallon bag-in-box packaging system removes 24 one-liter bottles from the waste stream and features superior product evacuation, saving suppliers money and damage to the environment upon disposal into landfills.
Scholle Packaging members attended the DuPont Award ceremony and participated in the panel discussion that took place in Wilmington, Delaware on June 1st.
