Algus is an established manufacturer of sealing machines, thermoforming packaging and full service contract packaging. Our unique combination of products and services enables Algus to provide quality components for a packaging project; as well as, inventory, pack and deliver complete packaged goods for our customers.Algus Packaging, Inc. is currently a supplier of three distinct but related products and services. These services include: thermoforming parts, manufacturing automated/ semiautomatic machinery and service support, and contract packaging. Algus serves markets almost exclusively within the United States Thermoforming DivisionIn addition to the thermoformed components, several value added services are offered to our customers through this division. Design through prototype work is performed in-house by a highly competent and experienced engineering team. Prototype and production tooling is built in our tool room where we have the finest tool making equipment available.Sealing Machine DivisionWe manufacture 6 automatic and 2 semi-automatic standard models for the CPG markets, as well as 2 automatic and 2 semi-automatic models for the medical and pharmaceutical markets. Our equipment provides sealing area ranges from 8x10 to 14x28 inches.Contract Packaging DivisionThis division is where all of our core competencies come together. Currently running, 8 automated machine lines for production, 3 additional lines for custom hand assemblies when automated methods are not possible or cost effective. A one line is used solely for conversion. We currently service consumer packaged goods (CPG), including electronics, hardware and household items.
