Nordson three-module e.dot® electric guns, a specially developed electronic Braille code pattern controller and a Nordson adhesive melter provide the precise, high-speed dot placement required to accurately apply Braille coding
to packaging.
The ball and nozzle/seat design of the e.dot electric gun provides excellent repeatability, pattern control and consistency, delivering superior dot patterns and minimizing adhesive
stringing or tailing. The system applies Braille code at line speeds up to 98 feet per minute (30 meters/min).
The pattern controller interprets multiple languages into Braille code. The controller calculates the position of each dot and triggers the jetting modules to apply the dot pattern.
