Hudson-Sharp’s family of flat belt bag machines can produce a wide variety of bag styles such as sideweld, bottom seal, twin seal, and pouch seals. A wide range of specially designed attachments add to the flatbelt family's flexibility to produce a diverse range of bag styles using many different film types and gauges with operating speeds up to 250 cpm.

Features A Fin Seal application maximizes the versatility of certain flatbelt applications, which are capable of producing polyethylene or co-extruded bags in film gauges of 50 micron (2 mil. ) up to 200 micron ( 7 ¾ mil. ).
Features The rotating gusset former allows the operator to change the position of the longitudinal seal in each new bag set-up. This system also uses Hudson-Sharp’s independent longitudinal seal heads, coolers for fin seal, lateral knife and AC servo drives.
Features Both gusseted and non-gusseted heavy-duty bottom seal bags are ideal for applications such as fertilizer, mulch soil or pet food bags.
Features Slider closure systems can also be integrated with Hudson-Sharp’s bag making equipment. Utilizing our sideweld sealhead for bag orientation, we use our longitudinal sealer to apply the zipper material to the film as it passes through the system.
Features Prior to sealing of the bag, we incorporate the closure equipment for applying the slider assembly to the film. By using the slider closure system you provide value added packaging solutions to your customers.
Features Additional applications for the MS family of flatbelts such as reinforced merchandise bags, pouch and draw-tape style bags are made possible by adding various attachments from Hudson-Sharp.
Features In addition, high-speed punching units are available for wicket punches, vent holes, shaped perforators, handle cut-out and customized systems for multiple hole punching.
