Product Name:   Continuous Motion Rotary Bags
Model Number:   Drum Sealing Machinery

Hudson-Sharp manufactures rotary drum sealing machinery for the production of bags-on-a-roll and bags folded and stacked. 840mm (33“), 1300mm (51“) and 2200mm (86”) width options give the converter flexibility for optimal production. The continuous motion sealing technology allows for longer seal dwell at lower temperature, enabling linear speeds of up to 160 meters (600 feet) per minute. Hudson-Sharp’s versatile line of rotary drum sealing equipment is used for the production of the most commonly used household and institutional garbage bags, as well as other bag-on-a-roll and folded and stacked bag applications.

Technical Specs
Features Hudson-Sharp launched a new range of rotary drum sealing machinery for the production of bags-on-a-roll and bags folded and stacked. 840mm (33“), 1300mm (51“) and 2200mm (86”) width options give the converter flexibility for optimal production.
Features The continuous motion sealing technology allows for longer seal dwell at lower temperature, enabling linear speeds of up to 160 meters (600 feet) per minute.
Features Hudson-Sharp’s versatile line of rotary drum sealing equipment is used for the production of the most commonly used household and institutional garbage bags, as well as other bag-on-a-roll and folded and stacked bag applications.
Features The rotary drum bag machine has been redesigned for easier maintenance and can be equipped with either bottom seal or twin side seal sealing bars.
Features Hudson-Sharp's optional patented "perf to seal registration system" offers production of high quality side sealed retail trash and drawtape bags by reducing the size of the seal skirt and reliably preventing the perf from cutting into the seals.
Features Using bottom seal bars, these machines also produce reliable seals at high speeds on star bottom can liners and flat sealed retail trash bags.
Features Drawtape system has been developed, including new linear hem sealing system that does not require a film separator tape, simplified tape insertion, servo rotary thumb notching and hem venting along with both pancake and spool wound tape unwinds.
Features The footprint of the entire drawtape module has been substantially reduced.
Features The new rotary drum sealers can be used in conjunction with Hudson-Sharp’s Model 450 winder to produce both interleaved (loose) or connected bags-on-a-roll.
Features Changeover from interleave to connected bags can be performed while the machine is running, without machine downtime. With the use of Hudson-Sharp’s Model 440 Separator/Folder, bags can be individually folded and stacked instead of produced on a roll.
Features Various custom engineered, automatic cartoning or bagging systems can be designed upon request.
