With speeds up to 60 packs per minute and the the capability of handling multi-flavor point-of purchase packages, the SP-500i continues to bring innovation to the packaging industry. In the North American dairy industry, where Delkor first introduced its Spot-Pak® package, nearly 50% of the North American production lines for such products as cottage cheese, sour cream, dips, etc, now go to market in a Spot-Pak® package. The patented Spot-Pak® package saves customer up to 60% in packaging materials over the traditional case packing solution. Plants also experience a 65% reduction in warehouse storage of packaging materials when they convert from boxes to the Spot-Pak® package. Distribution costs are also reduced due to the increase in pallet density. Because the package is smaller than a traditional box, up to 8% more fits on a pallet.
