The patent-pending FKI Logistex Bumpless Case Turner selectively rotates articles such as boxes and cases without impact or contact to their front or sides. The Bumpless Case Turner's unique design accepts product flow with a minimum gap and rotates only those that are programmed to be turned. It can accept any combination of turned and non-turned articles, and can turn them through angles up to and through 360 degrees. A typical application will turn selected articles 90 degrees to facilitate the formation of a pallet pattern. Additional features and benefits include optional high-speed pneumatic actuators allowing higher throughputs, no mechanical set-up required on product changeovers, and simple user inputs allow for easy fine-tuning.
