UK flexo label printer adds facility, personnel

July 15, 2008 - Flexographic label printer, Systems Labelling Ltd. (SLL), Flintshire, UK, acquires 12,000-square-foot facility in Runcorn, UK, to supplement capacity to meet increasing demand. After minor construction to prepare for installation of new in-mold labeling, wraparound equipment, relocation of some staff, SLL expects dedicated facility to open by end of August 2008. It also plans to add personnel. Systems Labelling’s Steve Pickford, md, says, “The additional site…will provide the business with additional capacity, flexibility and a centre of excellence for our new label options.”
