Effective January 13, 2005, Vertex Interactive acquired CAPE Systems. This multi-million dollar new alliance is a real milestone in the field of packaging design, palletizing and logistics software, creating a one-stop, single source of innovative supply chain software. The enhanced CAPE Systems organization will enable us to provide a vastly improved capacity to offer our customers the full range of supply chain software solutions and greatly expand our financial strength and staffing and customer support capabilities.

All of us at CAPE have taken every step possible to ensure that customer service continues at a very high level as our new organization comes together. In fact, the very reason behind this new organization is to provide you with even better service, more products and increased innovation in the months and years ahead. Today, our organization is even better and stronger. Our management team continues to be led by Peter Ayling, Brad Leonard and Heidi Larsen. The CAPE Systems staff remains intact and is now significantly increased and part of a larger organization with the additional resources provided through the Vertex Interactive group.

While you've known CAPE as the market leader in packaging design, palletizing configuration and truck/container-loading software, Vertex Interactive has many years of success in software technology, focusing on order fulfillment and warehouse management, pick-to-light and SAP practice systems.
