Pillar Technologies ITW divisional partner company, ITW InductionSealing, now assembling in the UK, will be using Interpack to launch its latest range of air-cooled Pillar “Unifoiler™” waterless induction cap sealers. The air-cooled technology offers users, across a wide range of sectors, a highly reliable, cost effective, proven alternative to traditional water-cooled induction sealing systems.

In particular, ITW InductionSealing will be demonstrating its latest 1kW, 2kW and 4kW systems on the stand. The Unifoiler™ 2kW model will be operating in conjunction with a conveyor and a range of options to assist and ensure effective seals every time.

The Unifoiler™ induction range consists of systems designed for low speed applications through to units that are specially designed for use on automated, high speed packaging lines. The latest technology can be used in applications ranging from food and beverage, oils and chemicals to pharmaceutical, cosmetics and healthcare - indeed anywhere where there is a need for a tamper evident hermetic foil seal.

With a modular construction, Unifoiler’s are easy to install, operate and maintain. Furthermore, the systems are highly flexible as the units can be supplied with a selection of coils including hand held, tunnel and universal versions, enabling Unifoiler models to be used to apply seals for a variety of closure sizes and styles.

The air-cooled Unifoiler™ range also features Pillar’s ‘quick lock’ coil set up technology, allowing easy coil height adjustment and removal. Additionally, the Unifoiler™ technology also benefits from microprocessor control and a soft touch membrane control panel, enabling users to access real-time performance data on the sealing process.
