Technik Packaging Machinery Announces New Small Cartoner - Unique Design Offers High Productivity Using Little Floor Space

Technik Packaging Machinery announces availability of the Carton King® cartoner. Designed and built for Technik by the German manufacturer Jakob + Wienmeier Industrial Technology this machine cartons smaller products at rates up to 60 cpm with a footprint as small as 40” x 38”. Besides its compact size the innovative Carton King offers numerous features which benefit packagers of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, specialty foods and small parts.

Using a rotating turret and modular design components the new Carton King can accommodate a wide range of carton blank sizes; offers many options for printing, embossing, labeling and/or leaflet insertion; can provide hotmelt or tuck-in closures; and easily incorporates bar code verification and other QC requirements. Various degrees of automation are available from semiautomatic hand feeding of product to fully automatic product infeed, leaflet insertion and discharge handling of the completed carton. Both vertical and horizontal models are offered to accommodate a wide range of products.

Changeovers between carton sizes are fast and easy making this machine ideal for contract packers and other users with short runs. Applications for blister packs, vials, bottles, tubes and small parts are ideal for the Carton King. This cost effective cartoner can bring significant productivity and quality improvements to many applications where small batches or lower throughput volumes have previously precluded automation of carton packaging.
