Safety & Quality Awards

APC-Extrusion division recently was honored with the OSHA VPP-Star award which is achieved by very few converters and only .02% of all facilities in the US. This division recently upgraded to ISO 9001-2000 registration and is AIB Superior Rated along with maintains a FDA Drug Masterfile.

Commendations - The ISO auditor bestows special recognition to APC for its dedication to a healthy Quality System; APC has gone beyond what the Standard requires in areas of Management Review, Division Leadership Team process, and Corrective Action thoroughness.

APC-Rotogravure division recently upgraded to ISO 9001-2000 registration and is AIB Excellent Rated.

APC-Flexographic & Preformed Products division recently was presented with the Outstanding Achievement in Accident Prevention award by the Governor of Iowa. This division is working towards ISO 9001 (2000 standards), they are AIB Superior Rated and IMS Certified.

An employee empowered, clean, safe environment has kept our material rejection rate at an outstanding <.02 rate.

Human Resources Awards

American Packaging Corporation Receives Human Resources Excellence Award.

On April 24, 2003 American Packaging Corporation was chosen as one of the “final four” among over 430 member organizations for the 2003 Rochester Business Alliance Human Resources Excellence Award. American Packaging was then named one of the co-recipients at the May 6, 2003 Award Ceremony and Celebration held at the RBA Headquarters on East Avenue in Rochester, NY.

This award recognizes the contributions and achievements of an RBA HR Services member company, the impact of its human resource practices on the organization’s operational effectiveness, its community involvement, and its participation in and contribution to RBA-sponsored activities and services. Recipients of this award have demonstrated the ability to effectively influence their respective organizations in the areas of HR strategy, change management, policy administration and overall business impact.
