HIGH SPEED STANDUP POUCH MACHINE FROM LAUDENBERG OF WIPPERFüRTH, GERMANY

PPi Technologies, Inc. of Sarasota Florida, announces the introduction of a high speed 24/7 Laudenberg USDA certified machine, for beverages and or retortable shelf stable foods packed into StandUp pouches.

The new machine can handle dry and or liquid or both products in either a hot-fill or cold-fill mode. The model FBM 880 PMP, fills and seals premade StandUp pouches at a rate of 720 per minute via 12 Laudenberg designed adjustable pump fillers with ± 0.5% accuracy.

The machine can fill pouches from 50 to 200 ml fill volumes. Electrical controls are Allen-Bradley and for optimum efficiency the pump fillers can be moved to a CIP cleaning room away from the machine, and a second set of fillers can be immediately used for the next product run

Benefits are compact size [35' x 35'], one operator controlled, ability to run multiple product types at the same time and the machine can be turned into a form-fill-seal system at a later date.

For the beverage market, the machine can be supplied as a total line concept called BevPacTM and includes a pouch maker using the PPi Technologies, Inc. developed [patent pending] LasOTM or ThermOTM straw hole systems, Laudenberg “880” fill-seal machine, a double deck cooler, pouch quality tester and checkweigher, straw applicator, case or tray packer with printed bundle overwrap and an automatic palletizer. The total BevPacTM line sells for under $6 million installed and requires a total of 7 personnel, including the fork truck operator.
