Barrier Plus Container Format Combines Benefits of Paper and Plastic

NEW AT PACK EXPO! Paper Machinery Corporation will introduce Barrier Plus™, a new container format and new forming technology, at PACK EXPO International 2004. Offering barrier protection associated with plastic and the printability associated with paper, Barrier Plus™ is an economical container ideal for a wide range of sizes and products. At the show, pr-printed polypropylene blanks will be formed on a PMC 1002P system at speeds of 200 cpm. The containers will be 12 oz., convolute cups suitable for a variety of “To Go” products. In addition, gallon size, polypropylene containers will be presented that have been formed on PMC’s new 1300P system.
