Nordson Names Eric Luftig Marketing Manager For Adhesive Systems

Eric Luftig has joined Nordson Corporation (Nasdaq: NDSN) as marketing manager for the Adhesive Systems Group. As marketing manager, Eric will be responsible for developing and managing marketing efforts for the Packaging and Product Assembly business group, as well as leading efforts to identify and capitalize on trends in new and existing global markets. Eric will also oversee domestic marketing functions, including marketing communications, pricing, training and trade show support. He will be based in Duluth, Georgia, reporting to Jeff Pembroke, vice president Adhesive Systems sales and marketing. Jeff Pembroke, said, “We are extremely excited to have Eric join Nordson Corporation in this key leadership position, says. His proven experience in identifying and developing global market opportunities will be instrumental in helping Nordson Adhesive Systems achieve our long term growth objectives.” Most recently, Eric was global marketing manager for General Electric (GE) Silicones where he led strategic efforts to assess, validate and capture growth opportunities in the healthcare industry. Prior to this position, he held roles of increasing responsibility within GE’s Advanced Material business in process optimization, product management and commercialization and Six Sigma Quality. Eric earned a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. He will be relocating to Atlanta from Albany, New York, with his wife Tina and his daughter Abigail.
