NORDSON® PROTECTION PACKAGE™ KEEPS PACKAGING LINES PRODUCTIVE BY MINIMIZING UNSCHEDULED DOWNTIME DULUTH, Georgia – April 3, 2006 – The Nordson (Nasdaq – NDSN) Protection Package helps manufacturers keep hot melt adhesive dispensing systems operating efficiently while reducing the costs associated with unexpected downtime. Trained Nordson technical representatives perform scheduled 23-point critical system checks and service to keep Nordson systems including melters, guns and hoses in peak operating condition. Professionally qualified to maintain top system performance, Nordson field service personnel use genuine Nordson replacement parts to preserve system reliability and warranty and provide expert installation that meets original factory specifications. Packaging lines that are changing adhesive types or formulations will see immediate benefits from the Protection Package. Service includes flushing old adhesive and char from the system, preventing contamination and adulteration and optimizing performance of the new adhesive. All Protection Package visits include detailed documentation of service performed to help companies meet ISO compliance as well as an audit of customers’ spare parts inventory.
