MiniBlue dispensing guns from Nordson Corporation (Nasdaq – NDSN) are ideal for packaging applications with close compression sections and limited space in parent packaging machinery. Single module guns with 18 mm (0.71 in) manifolds and multi-module guns with centerlines as low as 16 mm (0.63 in) allow easy installation and service in confined spaces.

Adhesive pattern flexibility is attained through choice of reduced cavity or ball and seat gun configurations. Fixed reduced cavity or removable Saturn® nozzles provide excellent bead deposition with a wide range of adhesives.

Air-open/air-close (AOAC) module actuation delivers strong closing force resulting in cleaner adhesive cutoff than conventional air-open/spring close modules, even with aggressive and pressure-sensitive adhesives.

An integrated filter in the gun manifold captures contaminants and adhesive char, reducing nozzle clogging and maintenance.

Long-life, spring-loaded hydraulic seals improve durability and extend operating life by reducing air section failure, minimizing downtime.

Guns can be configured using an interactive CD that allows customers to specify centerline requirements, reduced cavity or ball and seat style, heater voltage, cordset and solenoid needs.
