DULUTH, Georgia – May 21, 2001 – New Saturn in-line filters from Nordson Corporation (Nasdaq—NDSN) make hot melt adhesive filter maintenance quick and easy. The filter’s simplicity facilitates routine maintenance to help keep hot melt adhesive systems operating efficiently. The Saturn filter’s unique assembly-filter design and the ability to orient the filter allow easy filter replacement in a pressure-purged hot melt adhesive system without having to disconnect the hose from the gun.

The Saturn filter is ideal for use in packaging applications. The effective collection of contaminants improves the efficiency of hot melt adhesive systems and reduces unscheduled downtime. The disposable Saturn filter features inside-out flow to effectively trap contaminants in the filter for easy disposal. The filter utilizes color-coded rings for easy identification of replacement filters.

The Saturn in-line filter assembly is available in straight, 45- and 90-degree configurations allowing filter orientation for easy access and maintenance.
