Select Series automatic guns are compatible with ITW and Robatech hot melt units. Dispensing guns are available in 1, 2 or 4-module standard configurations, and 2 or 4-module low-profile versions. The patented Saturn™ precision nozzles provide color-coding for quick identification of orifice diameter and engagement. The color-coded rings also assure customers they are using a genuine Nordson nozzle.

Superior service life is provided by patented Series H-400 and H-440 guns to more than double the industry-leading service life of Nordson® Series H-200 designs. Extended service life improves production cost efficiency with fewer replacements, downtime and maintenance. These guns feature a small adhesive chamber between the needle tip and nozzle, which improves cut-off while limiting adhesive drool. A choice of gun actuations matches specific hot melt deposition requirements, using the H-400 air-open spring-close or H-440 air-open air-close.

Select Series manual handguns are compatible with Hot Melt Technologies hot melt units. Nordson handguns are available in top-feed/swirl pattern, down-apply/extrusion and top-feed extrusion configurations. All models feature ever-cool handles, a thumb safety switch, resistance-temperature-detector (RTD) sensing and a choice of standard and application specific nozzles.

Select Series hoses for automatic and manual applications are available in lengths from 4 to 16 feet (1.2 to 5.0m) with a 5/16-inch diameter. Nordson advanced-technology hoses provide accurate thermal sensing through area or point sensors. The result is consistent hot melt flow rates and uniform bead patterns. Nordson hoses include two separate ground paths to protect personnel from injury and equipment from damage. Also, a dedicated low-resistance 12-gauge ground path reduces the possibility of high-impedance faults. To prevent power up of the hose or gun without a grounded connection, electrical connections use make-first break-last ground pins at the gun and unit ends.
