DULUTH, Georgia – April 23, 2001 – New LA 844 liquid adhesive dispensing electric guns from Nordson Corporation (Nasdaq – NDSN) deliver consistent placement of complex patterns at exceptionally high cycle rates. The benefits of improved bond quality and reduced rejects make the LA 844 gun an ideal solution for folding carton, print finishing and packaging operations.

The LA 844 gun features a compact design and close centerlines allowing for precise, complex pattern arrangement. A choice of gun configurations and mounting profiles helps satisfy the most exacting requirements and accommodates specific mounting constraints.

Cycle rates as high as 800 cycles per second produce dots meeting the most challenging production requirements. The ball-plunger and cone assembly provides clean adhesive cut-off to minimize tailing. A standard integrated tip seal system prevents the nozzle from drying out during dwell times.

The new coil and all stainless steel body design allow the LA 844 to handle a wider variety of adhesives and pattern requirements than ever before.
