ADVANCING CAM SERVO DRIVEN ROTARY PLACER

Coupons and literature can be placed and glued on the inside of flat carton blanks with the new Advancing Cam Servo Driven Rotary Placer from Minnesota Automation. Designed to interface with most side seam gluers, this Advancing Cam Rotary Placer handles a broad spectrum of coupons, literature and promotional pieces. The adjustable cam accommodates a wide range of carton pitches. Using an encoder to track the speed of the side seam gluer and a photo eye to detect the carton blank position, the servo drive insures accurate placement of the coupon. Speeds of more than 300 placements per minute can be achieved. The portable stand is mounted on casters to allow the Placer to be easily moved from line to line. Docking stations ensure quick and accurate repositioning. The entire system is designed for ease of operation and maximum flexibility.
