MARQs New High Performance Case Erector (HPE-215) Proves Itself To Be One 'Tuff' Machine.

YAKIMA, WA- January 24, 2001- MARQ Packaging Systems, Inc. has built a High Performance Case Erector with a 91 inch x 82 inch footprint. This small machine erects cases from 8 inches in length, up to 27 inches in length. The knockdown length is 14.75 inches up to 43 inches in length.

The HPE-215 was showcased this past November at Pack Expo 2000 in Chicago.

Nip rollers feed the case into the erecting station, while the top and bottom lug drives keep the case square. The top and bottom lug drives will not diminish the interior dimension of the case like a side belt drive can. Top and bottom vacuum cups secure the knock down and open the case. The case is set up on its side, which allows the folding mechanism to be visible. With the folding mechanism visible, it can be easily cleared and/or adjusted.

We've made case change-over as expedient as possible by adding an innovative electromagnetic system. Another great feature of this machine is the ergonomically friendly continuous feed stack hopper.

Like all MARQ machines, the HPE-215 is built to withstand operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It's built with heavy duty welded steel, and can produce corrugated at 15 cases per minute. There are no special electrical needs with this machine. It is powered by a standard 110v single phase motor.
