Krones Inc appoints Raymond as Head of Sales and Marketing

Krones Inc., a subsidiary of Krones AG, a world leader in the manufacture of packaging and bottling systems, today announced the promotion of Timothy Raymond, 46, to senior vice president, sales and marketing for North America. Most recently, Raymond was vice president, sales, Central Division, for the company. Rainulf Diepold, member of the executive board, Krones AG, Germany, and head of worldwide sales and marketing, said, “We’re extremely pleased to have Tim as our new sales and marketing leader in North America and the Caribbean. During his 17-year tenure at Krones, he has developed strong customer relationships based on his knowledge of the industry, the technology, and the customer’s business, and his ability to deliver creative and intelligent solutions.” Diepold added, “Tim has built a reputation as the ‘go-to’ person for both Krones insiders and customers who want answers and results.” In his new position, Raymond will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships and building sales throughout North America. He will also focus on the customer experience, providing customers with a seamless process from the initial equipment quotation through installation and start up. Raymond joined Krones Inc. as a sales representative. He holds a degree in refrigeration engineering from Ferris State University, Big Rapids, Michigan. Prior to coming to Krones, Raymond designed and oversaw production of food and beverage processing facilities throughout Central America and the Southeastern United States.
