John Uber - Business Development Manager for Product Handling and Case Weighing

Uber Joins Mettler-Toledo Hi-Speed Marketing Ithaca, NY – Date – Mettler-Toledo Hi-Speed has promoted John Uber to Business Development Manager for Product Handling and Caseweighing. The 20-year veteran will support the industrial and strategic accounts group and lead development of Hi-Speed caseweighers, divergers, and convergers. “John’s 20 years of experience in all facets of our business makes him the right person to take on this high growth opportunity,” Kyle Thomas, Hi-Speed Marketing Manager, said. Since Uber joined Hi-Speed in 1988 as a Mechanical Engineer, he has developed five checkweighing patents and held various leadership roles in Engineering, Sales, and Marketing. Uber was most recently the manager of Hi-Speed’s Applications team. He has a B.S. and a M.S. in Physics (1975 and 1978), and a B.S. in mechanical engineering (1982), all earned from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
