Company Reorganization Helps Ensure Continued Success

George Gordon Associates is undergoing a company reorganization that mainly involves three employees: Don Jette, Maria Lorenzo and Maurice Demarais. Below is a summary of those employees’ changes in job descriptions.

DON JETTE will continue as the head of the engineering department, and, in addition, he will be in charge of Shop Releases. These new duties include releasing the print packages for new builds providing information to the purchasing department, machine shop and manufacturing to allow expeditious completion of orders to meet customer deliveries. In addition, his duties will include anything to bring about the success of the company!

MAURICE DEMARAIS is now in charge of three areas, Service, Spare Parts Sales, and Shipping. He will organize all service trip scheduling with technician(s) who will report to him; he will handle all spare parts orders from customers; and, he will deal with shipment of all product from our plant. This approach provides control beginning with incoming orders and ending with getting machines shipped out. In addition, his duties will include anything to bring about the success of the company!

MARIA LORENZO is now in charge of two areas, Purchasing and Receiving. She will place all GGA orders; expedite all orders; and, she will field all vendor calls and visits. She will also receive incoming items sent to our plant. This approach provides control beginning with the placement of orders and ending with assurance that the right items are received on time. In addition, her duties will include anything to bring about the success of the company!

Maurice and Maria will back up each other’s otherwise independent positions.
