The new Infinity Series™ accumulator brings to market the capabilities to store products that are subject to damage due to backpressure such as HOT filled PET, or containers that are unstable such as empty PET containers.

In addition, there is no need to have a separate combiner. It’s built right in. The unit has as an integral part of its design, a single-filer that provides a constant stream of bottles to the downstream machine. The unit can be configured to provide single-file out feed; multiple-lane out feed in divided rows; or en masse out feed.

It stores containers by using a proprietary infinite loop storage system, which re-circulates the product until it is ready to be accepted by the downstream operation. And, since the stored product is constantly in motion, it is never allowed to stop on the loop.

This re-circulation of product never changes direction relative to the chains surface. The actual movement of the bottles relative to the chain is a simple side transfer from one chain to another; affording amazing stability, never bumping into one another; never causing any damaging backpressure. As the product goes around the turns, the “variable velocity curve” gently separates the containers in such a way that containers aren’t even touching one another and therefore, labels are never damaged.

It will store any container that is round, square, or tapered; glass, PET, HDPE; poly propylene, aluminum, or steel.

Placed in the proper location, the Infinity Series™ can increase your total throughput for the line by as much as 40%.
