For Immediate Release Contact: Harold Booth, The Frain Group, 630-889-5728 Frain Group Debuts Demonstration Facility For Packaging Lines Frainlin Park, IL Mindful of the familiar saying, “Seeing is believing, ” Frain Group has converted a major portion of its 1.2 million square feet Franklin Park headquarters into a demonstration area where complete packaging lines for consumer goods and pharmaceuticals are now set up and operating. Currently nine lines are configured and illustrate a variety of packaging capabilities, including dry and liquid bottle filling, form, fill and seal pouch lines, shrink wrapping and bottle unscrambling. The demonstration facility not only showcases Frain’s pre-owned equipment, but also confirms its ability to provide and integrate many machines into a complex packaging solution. “When we have an idea of what a customer wants to do, we can set up and demonstrate a solution composed of best of breed machines for them to inspect when they arrive, ” said Rich Frain, President. ”In this way the facility can also help customers’ increasing efforts to reduce their time to commercialization by shortening their equipment sourcing period” Frain continued. “Time is becoming the predominate consideration in every one of our transactions.” A special area of the facility is set apart for pharmaceutical demonstrations that currently include vial inspection, filling, stoppering and crimping; pill counting, filling, cottoner and capping; tablet forming and capsule filling among others. A mini-processing (lab) equipment area is also in operation.
