Fortress Technology - IP69K rated Metal Detector

(Toronto) Fortress Technology is pleased to announce that its stainless steel constructed Phantom BSH Metal Detector  is now officially certified with an IP69K Rating, representing the highest level of waterproof resistance to high pressure jet wash and complete seal against dust. Tested in accordance with Ingress Protection (IP) standards by an independent European test house, the Phantom BSH detector was subjected to a 80°C (175°F) steam clean spray at various angles with pressure up to 100 bar (1500 PSI), in addition to being placed in a dust chamber for 8 hours. No water or dust penetrated the unit.

 

The IP69K certification confirms that Fortress metal detectors are built exceptionally rugged to meet the demands of the harshest production environments by withstanding the most severe conditions. The Phantom BSH detector also achieves vibration immunity and ultimate stability in wet product applications with Fortress’s unique heavy duty construction.

 

The Phantom BSH detector, constructed in stainless steel with an epoxy chute, utilizes powerful digital signal processing to provide faster, more accurate detection of ferrous and non-ferrous metals including non magnetic stainless steel in food processing and packaging applications. Fortress detectors are also available in an epoxy painted aluminum casing, suitable for dry production environments.
