NEW AT PACK EXPO! Focke & Co will introduce the Model 486/542 integrated sideload case packer with portal palletizer at PACK EXPO International 2004. Controlled by a common ControlLogix PLC, the compact system accommodates finished pallet heights of 72” with speeds up to 15 cases per minute. Optional equipment includes open flap detection, case upender, case reject system for open flaps or manual palletizing and slip sheet placement.

The company will also introduce the Model 445 Tray-Tray/hood Wraparound case packer. The unit being exhibited will show product being loaded onto trays with the application of a hood. The unit has speed capabilities up to 30 trays/cases per minute. The flexible, compact offers simple no-tools changeover size change facilities, including the case magazine. As always, Focke machinery is driven by mechanical functions incorporating Rockwell Controls and servo drives when appropriate.
