The Hudson-Sharp Machine Company’s INNO-LOKÒ pre-zippered film is revolutionizing reclosable packaging with the new INNO-LOK® Bag Top Barrier closure.

INNO-LOK® transverse pre-zippered film provides an economical, easy solution for reclosable packaging projects. Compatible with conventional vertical form-fill-seal machinery without reduction in cycle rates or output, INNO-LOK® transverse pre-zippered film only requires minor modification of the form-fill-seal machine to run smoothly. In comparison to in-line or on-line reclosable systems, INNO-LOK® transverse pre-zippered film allows converters to experience far less scrap and down-time. Form-Fill-Seal packages can utilize the following INNO-LOK® opening features: E-Z Tab Tamper Evident Closure, E-Z Tab Peel Seal Closure, and the new and improved Bag Top Barrier Closure. INNO-LOK® ‘s Bag Top Barrier Closure is easily integrated into existing Form-Fill-Seal production lines and gives the package the popular press-to-close zipper feature on opposing walls of the bag. INNO-LOK® ‘s Bag Top Barrier Closure is ideal for applications using OPP film such as snack foods and other high barrier applications.

INNO-LOK® Pre-zippered film is a unique, patented product and method for attaching reclosable fasteners to form, fill and seal packaging films. A unique feature of INNO-LOK® Transverse Pre-zippered film is that the interlocking plastic zipper profiles are applied transverse to the edges of the packaging film. The film supplier or converter pre-applies the reclosable fastener to the roll stock so the pre-zippered film can then easily be used on a Form-Fill-Seal machine.

INNO-LOK® transverse pre-zippered film is currently being globally manufactured by converters in the U.S.A., Italy, Israel, France, Holland and New Zealand.
