Randolph, Wis. – Arrowhead Systems’ subsidiary Busse/SJI is introducing a new line of bulk depalletizers for the specific container-handling requirements of mid-speed filling and canning lines. The Classic “W” Series depalletizer is a modernized version of Busse/SJI’s venerable “W” Series depalletizer – the machine that set the industry standard for rugged, reliable depalletizing.

The Classic “W” Series includes six models, providing two levels of automation for either round or non-round glass, plastic and metal container handling. Designed for less demanding applications, the basic Classic “W” features semi-automatic sweep function, manual sheet removal, manual top frame removal and semi-automatic pallet change cycle. For higher speed applications, Busse/SJI also offers automatic sweep function, automatic single-stage sheet removal, automatic single-stage top frame removal, automatic pallet change cycle and high-speed pallet ejection. The automated Classic “W” can depalletize up to four layers of containers per minute.

Like the original “W” Series depalletizer, all Classic W models feature rugged steel construction. Hydraulics have been replaced by efficient and quiet all-electric/pneumatic operation. The Control panel is premounted for easy shipping and installation.
