FKI LOGISTEX APPOINTS MANAGING DIRECTOR FOR EUROPEAN OPERATIONS

FKI Logistex® (www.fkilogistex.com), a global leader in integrated material handling solutions, announces the appointment of Jerry Woodhouse as managing director, European operations. In this newly created role, Woodhouse will be responsible for increasing the focus on the organizational and operational development of the company's rapidly growing European business activities. An MBA graduate engineer, Woodhouse brings in-depth experience to this key position in advanced electro-mechanical systems, contracting and turnkey projects across Europe and North America. "Having spent several years building our business platform in Europe, we are now positioned and ready to extend our ambitions in the expanded European market," says Reg Gott, managing director, FKI Logistex. "Jerry has considerable knowledge in growing businesses and I am very pleased he has joined our senior executive team to lead this key phase of our business development strategy." Prior to joining FKI Logistex, Woodhouse spent ten years with ITT, where he led a number of business development programs directed at organic and inorganic business growth in an integrated matrix-based organizational environment. During his earlier career, Woodhouse worked for other high-profile organizations, including GEC Telecommunications, Bovis Construction, and Cegelec Environmental.
