This is a heavy-duty central pack wrapper with superior reliability. Eliminating many traditional high-wear mechanical components means extremely quite operation and precise, programmable control of machine movements.

Programmable Tray Look Up (TLU) provides concise control of film usage and tight, premium package appearance. Each TLU has 18 individual programmable parameters to customize machine operation to specific tray sizes.

Fast, easy, package size changeover is operator-accomplished without tools. The TLU system lets operator change tray sizes conveniently from the keyboard. Machines are easily configured specifically for your operation, including adjusting the infeed to accommodate wrapping high-profile products to 7.5 inches tall, like whole birds, pyramids of produce, or other tall products. Two models - standard and jumbo - permit the PowerPack® to wrap the full range of tray sizes, including Jumbo Family Packs.

An ideal selection for central pack operations that supply case-ready retail programs for fresh meat, poultry, produce and seafood. Performance enhancing technology employed throughout the wrapping machine results in outstanding reliability, versatility and productivity. Careful attention to important machine cleanliness issues contributes to plant hygiene and product quality.

CruiserPack® operates at variable speeds to 42 packages per minute. Operators accomplish package size changeovers without tools from the keyboard. Exact's unique Tray Look Up (TLU) system with 18 individual programmable parameters for each tray size offers a custom-tailored wrap. Automatically feeds film from either of two arbors to suit your mix of trays, according to the TLU program. Two models-standard and jumbo-permit the CruiserPack® to wrap the full range of tray sizes, including Jumbo Family Packs.

Designed for cleanliness. Two film reels are kept under cover for enhanced hygiene, and elevators are easily removed for cleaning. Any accidental product spillage drops straight through to the floor, eliminating contamination of machine parts.

Workhorse® Automatic Stretch Wrapper

Unmatched reliability with electronically controlled stepping motor technology. Eliminates many traditional mechanical components, resulting in extremely quiet, jam-proof operation and precise, programmable control of machine movements. TLU system offers a custom-tailored wrap for every tray size, while automatic film selection saves time and money. Two film arbors hold roll sizes to suit your mix of trays.

Pre-programmed two-speed operation permits products rates of 30 and 21 packages per minute, according to tray size. Speeds are automatically set to accommodate less stable trays.

Easily integrated with METTLER-TOLEDO scales and labelers. Systems are available in several integrated configurations, offering the high-volume/high-speed customer an alternative to larger footprint systems. Six available configurations of infeed and exit direction mean the Workhorse® can fit any production line layout requirement, and scale/labeler integration adds numerous attractive system options.

Solo® Max Automatic Wrapper

High volume wrapping requirements are easily met with the SOLO® Max automatic stretch wrapping machine. With a single roll of 13" stretch film, this machine wraps all trays, even family packs like the 25, 7 and 10 x 14. It requires no changeover time or selection between different trays sizes.

The SmartTouch® programmable prepack controller features an easy to use touch screen with menus, instructions and help displayed for each function. For quick PLU look up, 350 preset keys are available.

A small footprint of only 25 square feet means critical production space is maximized. Adding the Model 706 Auto- Labeler® adds only 8 square feed to the overall system footprint.

Solo® XL

Using a single roll of 13" stretch film, the SOLO® XL wraps virtually every package, from the smallest to the jumbo family packs like the 25, 7 and 10 x 14. Users without family pack requirements can realize even more film savings by using 11" wide film. Less film is required for every package, saving on film, labor and total operating costs. Automatic Tray reader boosts productivity. Using the Solo XL automatic reader feature, it is possible to run intermixed tray sizes without interrupting production. Loading film is fast and easy - in less than 30 seconds - due to the single roll design. You get plenty of packing power in only 25 square feet of floor space.

Optional equipment increases productivity. The compact Model 705 Auto-Labeler automatically indexes and positions trays for price and, optionally, day-glo labels on the same unit. With over 250 day-glo graphics, your need for a large inventory of preprinted labels is reduced. The Model 710 Bottom Labeler option permits print & apply of a wide variety of information such as Safe Handling Instructions, Bar Code, etc. on the bottom of the tray.

Model 703 Automatic Security Tag Applicator

Reduce meat shoplifting from the supermarket meat case with the Model 703 Security Tag Applicator. The 703 automatically applies the Sensormatic® Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) Tag to your fresh meat packages.

After a package has been wrapped and weighed, the Model 703 mounted on the Auto-labeler applies a tag to the top of the pack. The Auto-labeler then prints and applies a price label on top of the tag, concealing it.

Automatic operation saves time and labor costs, while employees need not make the decision “to tag” or “not to tag.” Not all trays are valuable enough to justify an EAS tag. Application of the tag is determined either by specific PLU or by price setpoints entered into the Model 8361 Prepack Controller. When using setpoints, tag application will occur if the item price/lb is above a setpoint price/lb or package total price is above a setpoint total price.

Loading the tag roll is easy and the Model 703 uses the Sensormatic® tags designed specifically for meat trays. It operates with several models of auto-labelers, both currently and previously offered. Contact your sales representative for more information.

Model 710 Bottom Label Printer

If packages in the meat case are on Information Overload, let the Model 710 print and apply bottom labels to your packages automatically. Any information you can print on top, you can now print and apply on the bottom. Fully programmable bottom labels can include items such as Barcodes, Nutri-facts, Safe Handling, Extra Text, Price-Weight and Country of Origin information.

Free up the operator’s time by eliminating hand-applied labels to your packages. Bottom labeling will also give you a much cleaner and more attractive meat case, which is more pleasing to your customers. Designed to match the speed of Exact's Workhorse® automatic wrapper, the Speedmaster™ 707 Auto-Labeler automatically indexes and positions trays for weigh/price labels. Packages are conveyed one at a time onto the scale conveyor for weighing and then to the labeling position for applying the price label. When matched to the Workhorse®, you will have a fast, complete, high production case-ready prepack system.

The network-ready controller connects to 10Base-T Ethernet networks, and databases can be tied into production or invoicing systems.

The easy-to-use SmartTouch® touch screen controller provides the software control, weighing, and printing capabilities for the Model 707. Up to 35 Preset keys are available per page, with unlimited pages for fast product changeover. Label formats are flexible, with built-in styles or custom-created formats. Labels can be applied to any corner of the package in any orientation.

Model 706 Auto-Labler®

The Model 706 Auto-Labeler® automates your random weight labeling operation. Packages are conveyed one at a time onto the scale conveyor for weighing, then to the labeling position for weight/price label application. Labels can be positioned on the package corner in either landscape or portrait orientation.

The SmartTouch Prepack 8361 Controller provides the software control, weighing and printing capabilities for the Model 706 Semi-auto system. The 8361 SmartTouch is an easy-to-use touch screen controller with multiple networking options, including Ethernet TCP/IP. Standard test and graphics printing are provided with the 317 Price Label Printer, which also features large label capacity. The 8270 Scale provides fast, accurate weighing.

Components may be added to save additional time. An additional 317 printer can easily be incorporated to print Day-glo merchandising labels. Also compatible with the 703 EAS Security Tag Applicator and 710 Bottom Label Printer.

Step-Saver prepack systems are economical and efficient. This single station wrap and weigh is designed for operator efficiency and improved productivity. Choose from one of three versatile scale models based on the system that best meets your needs.

Simply enter the PLU number, place the product on the platter that doubles as the wrapping platform, and wrap the product. By the time your operator has hand wrapped the package, an automatically printed label is ready to apply. Operators quickly become expert on these systems.

The Integrated 8461 or 8361 SmartTouch® system prints FDA Nutrition Facts labels and Safe Handling Instructions as well as retail weigh/price labels. The backlit touch screen makes this system easy to learn and use. The 8450 or 355 prepack systems are also available. All three options are designed to incorporate a 50 lb. X 0.01 lb. scale base. Additionally, they all feature Automatic Zero to assure a stable zero and meet NIST Handbook 44 requirements of a Class III weighing device.

WrapTool™

Exact Equipment has developed a powerful and cost effective tool to maximize wrapping machine flexibility and evaluate performance related issues - the WrapTool™ PC software program.

Quick and easy-to-use Windows-type screens lead the user through machine set-up, TLU programming, and diagnostic testing of individual machine movements. WrapTool™ takes the whole service concept a step further and suggests service solutions, plus records a service history of an individual machine and machine groups.

The program can be used to test the full machine cycle, causing each individual step of the cycle to repeat three times before moving into the next sequential step, making it possible to quickly isolate problems. Technicians can also isolate and test individual machine components such as sensors, solenoids, keyboard buttons, etc. A history of each service call and the action taken on a specific machine can be recorded, along with specific service comments or recommendations.

Monitor your Exact Equipment and Mettler Toledo automatic wrappers through the Internet - in Real Time - with WrapLink™.

WrapLink™ is a network-ready browser-based monitoring solution that allows users to remotely monitor their automatic wrappers. The software allows you to change settings, reset CPU, reset errors, place machines in "maintenance mode" for remote net/phone diagnostics, set up "automatic e-mail alerts" and more.

Using a standard web browser, you can perform diagnostics remotely through the Internet. The WrapLink™ interface in the wrapper acts as a web server. WrapLink™ can proactively look for errors or patterns of errors and send e-mail to a list of responsible people. You can schedule preventative service calls even before the wrapper operator is aware of a problem that could disrupt operation.
