Dorell Equipment, Inc. is a manufacturer of packaging equipment. At Dorell we specialize in designing full turn-key systems according to our customer specifications.

We manufacture a wide range of automatic shrink bundling and wrapping equipment, as well as tray, box and case erectors. In conjunction with customized automatic pick and place loading systems, Dorell Equipment, Inc. is the true turn-key solution.

Shrink Bundling

Sleeve wrappers (bundlers) are available with a variety of standard and optional equipment. Excluding the standard equipment listed in this section, we will customize the bundlers and shrink tunnels to meet the customer's requirements. Dorell's standard features are:

· Solid sealing jaw from 20" to 140" long.
· Power film drive on the top and bottom.
· Allen-Bradley PLC with panel interface.
· Side fold and tack or side seals with automatic scrap removal providing a fully enclosed package.
· Interlocked door and windows for added security.
· All American recognized purchased parts.
· Product collation and/or stacking.

Shrink Bundling Products

· SW30AI
Automatic inline wrapper stand-alone system is available with sealing jaw length of up to 140" and with various infeed and outfeed conveyors construction and length.
· SW30AI-HS
High-speed stand alone sleeve wrapper. It's design allows it to wrap newsprint at a rate of 30 bundles/minute.
· SW30AIBST1830
"Bucket wrapper and tunnel." A series of machines designed to wrap unstable products at speeds of up to 25 products/minute. This system could possibly be utilized to wrap products like firewood bundles, disk brakes, promotional packs, etc.
· SW20ARCST1220
With a right angle infeed system, a 20" sealing jaw, and a shrink tunnel all integrated into the same frame, this system is designed to work in single line collation applications. The system speed is 20 pushes/minute, and it available in both 30" and 40" sealing jaw lengths with optional features.
· TW30AIST1830
Automatic inline system designed to wrap trays containing products at a top speed of 30 bundles/minute.

Automatic inline system designed to wrap trays containing products at a tops peed of 60 bundles/minute.

Shrink Tunnels

Dorell Equipment's automatic, heavy duty Shrink Tunnels are designed to produce uniform shrinkage during high capacity, high speed, bundling applications.

Heavy duty blowers create high velocity circulating air. The air is channeled via duct system to blow uniformly on all four sides of the bundle. This produces even heat distribution on all bundle sides for even shrinkage.

Independent controls of air volume and direction, air temperature and belt speed, further enhances the ability to operate this system with a wide range of shrink applications.

Shrink Tunnel Products

· ST1830
A stand-alone shrink wrap with 30" belt width and 18" product height clearance. Tunnels are available with height clearance of up to 40" and with belts up to 140".

Tray Erectors

Trays are becoming more popular in the packaging industry due to the fact that they are one third the price of a box or a case. Loading of a tray can be done manually or automatically. Below is a list of Dorell's tray erectors.

An automatic tray erector using a fold-and-tuck system with speed of up to 25 trays/minute.
· TE-201
An automatic tray erector with hot melt and a speed of up to 35 trays/minute.

Tray/Case Wraparound Loaders

Tray/Case Wraparound Loader Products

· TFL-100
An inline tray erector/loader system with a speed of up to 20 products/minute. It can be fitter with various infeed and stacking systems.
· TFL-200
An inline tray erector and case wraparound system with a top speed of 20 products/minute. It is an easy changeover system.
· TC-300
An inline tray erector/case wraparound with a top speed of 30 bundles/minute. The machine can be fitted with special infeed equipment for difficult-to-handle products.
· TC-400
An inline tray erector/case wraparound with a top speed of 45 bundles/minute. The system can be fitted with special infeed equipment for difficult-to-handle products.

Case/Box Erecting

Corrugated cases, although a few cents more per package, posses a few advantages. The main advantage is that products can now be stacked while in a case. Also, cases provide protection from physical damage. Lastly, the case acts as a theft deterrent because the product is not visible.

A fold-and-lock box erector with a top speed of 12 boxes/minute.
· BE-107
A gluing box erector with a top speed of 35 boxes/minute.
· CE-200
Automatic fold-and-tuck system with a tray creation speed of up to 30 trays/minute.

Flow Wrappers

Flow Wrappers are needed when a product is required to be fully enclosed with film. Using a single roll, the film is threaded through the dancing bars and around the forming plow. The product is sealed on the front and the back ends leaving an overlap on the bottom. This is either tacked closed for bagged products or sealed in the tunnel with special bottom air flow for products to be shrunk.

Flow Wrapper Products

Horizontal form-fill-and-seal for square or round products. Speed is up to 120 ft per minute.
