This cell phone manufacturer wanted one common package for its multi- SKU product line of cell phones, batteries and re-chargers. Alloyd Brand's recloseable clamshell allows various product configurations to use the same clamshell package, reducing overall packaging costs. The transparent PVC plastic material exposes product components for easy inspection by consumers.

Pentel of America
Alloyd Brands's in-line thermoforming labeling has been applied to over 10 million Pentel of America packages seen in retail stores this fall. The label is applied during thermoforming for cost-effective coupon, rebate and marketing promotions. They then ship pre- labeled blisters ready for filling and sealing. Alloyd also provided product prototyping and design services including contact digitizing and optical scanning for the custom thermoformed package, and Pentel used Alloyd Blister Sealing Machines in their own plants to seal the packages.

One leading lock manufacturer needed an in-store solution to meet the needs of mass merchandisers. SCA Packaging's custom thermoformed insert trays proved the key to successfully merchandising products in cut-case cartons. Insert trays support weighty products in a consistently upright position, even after several locks are removed from the carton.

BIC Consumer Products
A new line of shavers required a major re-thinking of package design and functionality. Alloyd Brands and BIC designers jointly developed an all-plastic, tamper- evident yet recloseable blister package, which fits within planogram space limitations. The package encourages customers to touch the grip on the shaver's handle.

Award-winning Package

First Alert® / BRK Brands
Alloyd Brands created a unique foldover blister and card package used in retail displays for smoke alarm manufacturer First Alert®/BRK Brands. The top-of-the-line smoke alarm package uses the foldover panel as a means of promoting its distinguishing features. The package is formed from a single blister that is heat-sealed to the diecut card, and then folded to the front of the package and glued. The self-standing package, with a prominent front panel, creates a physical platform for product graphics. Alloyd Brands won a Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Thermoforming division award for best-of-category in consumer packaging for this package.
