The Group History

Almost 50 years of experience in plastic processing has made rommelag® the number one producer worldwide in the field of BFS.

First experience in plastic processing was gathered with the extrusion and printing of plastic film. Key element for the group's expansion, however, was the invention of the BFS process by engineer Gerhard Hansen in the beginning of the 1960s.

This was followed by the formation of machine building companies, sales companies and contract packaging companies which have one principle in common: their success was based on the bottelpack® BFS machines.

The Group's Network

Our core product bottelpack® machines, as well as downstream machinery such as infusion cap welding machines, high-voltage leak detectors, finishing lines, are distributed through the rommelag® offices in Germany, Switzerland and the United States.

Our contract packaging facilities operate to current GMP standards. Their products are being supplied to domestic clients, but also are exported to a worldwide clientele.
