1980/81 Establishment of company with new manufacturing building with offices.
1982 Development of the innovative groninger rotary piston pumps.
1984 1st expansion in Crailsheim.
1985 2nd expansion in Crailsheim and development of the groninger CIP/SIP process for dynamic sterilization of filling stations.
1987 3rd expansion in Crailsheim and development of the groninger modular lines.
1988 4th expansion in Crailsheim with warehouse.
1989 Development of a low-particle flaring system for optimizing laminar flow.
1990 Development of the fully automatic in-process weight control for processing vials and containers.
1991 Patent for the groninger ceramic pumps with flushing system (German Patent No. 3823397). Fraunhofer Institute test certificate sterilization by CIP/SIP cleaning and sterilization. Market introduction of system modules for all standard disposable syringes.
1992 New assembly building, opened October 1992.
1993-1995 New administration building at Crailsheim head office.
1994 The first isolation-capable groninger vial filling machine is manufactured.
1997/98 New Pharma building at Crailsheim.
1998 Sorting building extended with intermediate building and apprentice workshop at Crailsheim.
1998 Introduction of the time/pressure filling for groninger filling machines.
1999 Development of the groninger nest filler for presterilized syringes.
2000 The servo technology is in operation at all groninger machines distinguishing through highest flexibility.
2000/2001 Establishment of the new groninger cosmetics concept with the new building at Schnelldorf, Bavaria.
2001 Introduction of the groninger vacuum filling system to the market.
2001 Development and introduction to the market of the new groninger barrier system for machines with isolator technology. This development obtains an absolutely high aseptic seal during rotating shafts lead through to the interior of the isolator.
From end of 2001 Planning of a new production building with offices at Crailsheim head office.

Development is continuing. In future new developments will make production conditions in the filling industry even safer and more economical.

Isolation technology is offering completely new perspectives for sterile production and validation options. People are still a critical factor for production in traditional clean rooms while isolation technology now reduces the danger of contamination to virtually zero. This technology also brings immense cost savings because of substantially lower operating expenses.

In the near future robot technology is likely to become increasingly important for processing and will offer even more processing precision and safety.
