Our History

Cloud Packaging Solutions started as a joint venture in 1929 with Curtiss Candy Company when William S. Cloud, Sr. developed a number of machines including the Form-A-Bag machine, now the Hayssen RT, the Pouch King for high-speed, continuous motion horizontal form-fill-seal (HFFS), blister thermoforming machines, and continuous motion rotary drum and filter pack machines. Contract Packaging began in 1959 when a machine customer requested Cloud to operate machines that Cloud had built. More than 45 years later, Cloud Packaging Solutions continues to provide innovative solutions for the top twenty multinational food companies in the world. Most recently, Cloud Packaging Solutions acquired Span Packaging Services, which focuses on the healthcare and personal care markets.
